HOA management firm offers franchises
Parker Finch Management has awarded a second franchise in Denver and one in Tucson.
The community association management firm, based in Phoenix and headed by Chief Executive Jim Small, has developed a $1 million business model that franchisees can get for about $100,000.
Since announcing his plans to expand through franchising last summer, Small's company has granted franchises in Kingman, Lake Havasu City, Bullhead City, Las Vegas, Denver and Tucson, with plans to expand its service across the United States this year.
With Tucson "we surpassed the new franchise median of four in the first year of offering franchises -- and we did it in only eight months," Small said. "We only accept the cream of the crop to become franchisees in our system so we are confident that people in Florida and North Carolina will receive the same high-quality service that our clients in Arizona have come to expect."
Brenton Crozier of Tucson and Ernie Marcus of Denver are the latest people on board.
"Tucson is a great area with great people," Crozier said. "We are determined to deliver a service that homeowners and communities will find greatly beneficial."
Director of franchise development at Parker Finch, Matt Wolach, said the company's mission is to increase property values and a sense of community in neighborhoods it manages. "Our philosophy has benefited many people in the Phoenix area for some time and we are now very excited to bring that type of commitment to people in other locales across the country."
Crozier, who attended the University of Arizona and studied business information systems, has been working at Raytheon as a senior administrator for the past six years.
"With my history and knowledge of systems and procedures, it was obvious to me that Parker Finch had tremendous systems and procedures and the focus to ensure that they were followed," Crozier said.
Parker Finch Management serves homeowners associations and developers, including Equity Residential, Elliott Homes, Stratland Homes, Richmond American Homes, and others.
